Poland: Agency work restrictions proposed

The Polish Parliament is considering in early 2010 draft legislation that aims to prevent employers from dismissing employees and replacing them with temporary agency workers.

Temporary agency work has developed rapidly in Poland since the early 2000s, with the number of agency workers more than trebling since this form of employment was first regulated by specific legislation in 2003.
