Poland: Employees now able to bring class action claims

The Polish Parliament adopted legislation in November 2009 that will allow employees, among others, to bring collective "class action" court cases seeking damages.

The new "collective redress" legislation allows, for the first time in Poland, class actions to be brought in all civil cases where the claims are of the same nature and have the same demands.
