Poland: Government seeks to improve work-life balance
Poland has the lowest birth rate in the EU and in
March 2007 the government proposed a package of measures to improve work-life
balance and encourage families to have more children. The proposals will cost
PLN17.4 billion (€4.5 billion) over the next seven years.
