Poland: Preventing emigration

The government is currently working on a range of incentives designed to prevent the emigration of skilled labour. Although it acknowledges that working abroad brings some benefits - experience gained in other EU countries, the transfer back of money earned abroad, and investments from people returning and setting up their own businesses - the government is concerned at the loss of Polish-educated specialists as well as the demographic implications.
