Poland: Strike at Korean-owned electronics firm

Some 200 workers at a Polish factory owned by the Korea-based Dong-Yang Electronics have been on strike since mid-October 2008 in a high-profile dispute that has led to accusations of breaches of employment law by management.

The Dong-Yang Electronics factory in Mlawa, north-east Poland, was opened in 2004, producing components for LG Philips.
