Poland: Tougher workplace smoking ban introduced

Legislation came into force in Poland on 15 November 2010 that bans smoking at the workplace, except in smoking rooms that meet certain requirements.

The anti-smoking legislation imposes a general ban on tobacco smoking in most enclosed public places, including schools, hospitals, public transport, theatres and cinemas.
