Positive lessons emerging from Agenda for Change pilot

Provided that lessons are learned from the pilot of Agenda for Change (AfC), the national roll-out of the new NHS pay and grading system will benefit both NHS staff and the service itself, says a recent assessment by the Review Body for Nursing and Other Health Professions¹.

The review body visited all 12 of the so-called "early implementer" (EI) trusts in England that have been piloting AfC from June 2003².
