Pub group introduces a cap on pensionable pay

Mitchells & Butlers, the pub and restaurant group that owns All Bar One and Harvester, is capping future annual increases in the pensionable pay of its defined-benefit (DB) scheme members at 2%. The 1,700 active members will not therefore see pay increases fully reflected in their pension, unless pay rises are 2% or less.
