Public procurement guidelines

On 15 October, the European Commission issued guidelines on how to integrate social considerations into public procurement procedures. The guidelines state that certain social conditions may be attached to the tendering process and reinforce the fact that national social conditions relating to workers' rights and working conditions automatically apply once a contract is being carried out.
