Repeat offender Conder fined £100,000

A construction company has been fined and ordered to pay costs totalling £160,000 after a falling steel column killed a 16-year-old ground worker, just four weeks after he had left school.

Christopher Kesterton was crushed on 28 November 2000 during the erection of a steel-framed building at the Project Arrow construction site, Magna Park, Lutterworth in Leicestershire.
