Researchers link psychosocial factors to heart disease
University College London (UCL) researchers have found links between a poor psychosocial environment and diabetes and coronary heart disease. The research, which is part of the long- term Whitehall II study,1 also found that moderate alcohol consumption is a more significant factor than expected in injury and illness.
