Communication Workers' Union (CWU) members at Royal Mail have voted by five to two in favour of accepting a two-stage pay deal that will see basic pay for postmen and women rise to £300 per week. The deal is linked to implementation of a programme of major change at Royal Mail and part of the money available is subject to the achievement of targets.
