Sawmill fined £100k for transport death

The UK's largest sawmilling business, BSW Timber plc, has been fined £100,000 after an employee was run over and killed by a fork-lift truck in 2002. The group's total operating profit before defined benefit pension costs and interest was £4.9 million in the year to April 2003 and £1.9 million in 2002.
