School trip teacher jailed for boy's death
A high-school teacher has been jailed for one year for the manslaughter of a pupil on a school trip. But in a clear case of mis-sentencing, the teacher also received a concurrent six months in jail for a breach of the HSW Act that does not carry a prison sentence.
