    The second and final stage of a two-year deal at Scottish and Southern Energy has delivered a 3.3% rise in basic rates and allowances from 1 April 2004.

    The single table bargaining arrangement covers around 5,000 employees across a range of occupations, from clerical and customer service representatives on the administrative side to operatives, craft workers and team leaders on the industrial and technical side.
