Scottish police support staff: 3.5% increase

Employer representatives and unions on the
Scottish Police Support Staff Council have agreed a two-year deal that gives
around 2,500 police support staff a 3.5% increase from 1 September 2003 and a further 3.3% from 1 September 2004.
It brings the minimum point on the 71-point pay scale to £10,644 from September
2003, and to £10,995 from September 2004. An employee
at the top of the scale saw their pay increase to £63,450 from September 2003;
this rises to £65,544 from September 2004.
