Spain: Bank offers staff sabbaticals and flexible working

The Spanish BBVA bank offered its staff a range of measures in May 2009 to improve the reconciliation of work and personal life, including sabbaticals, hours reductions and special leave.

BBVA is Spain's second-largest bank, with a workforce of 30,000.
