Spain: CCOO remains best-supported union
In March 2008, the CCOO trade union confederation published the provisional results of the elections of workplace employee representatives held across Spain over 2006-07, indicating that its candidates won more than 39% of the seats, with UGT in second place with around 37%.
The “union elections” are considered a major test of support for trade unions.
