Spain: Clampdown on workplace accidents
The Ministry of Labour has announced increased cooperation among labour inspectors, the police, judges and public prosecutors in bringing cases against those criminally responsible for workplace accidents. It is particularly aimed at ensuring that those ultimately responsible, and not intermediaries, are prosecuted.
