Spain: Delphi closure controversy intensifies
The row over plans by Delphi, the US-based auto components manufacturer, to close its Puerto Real plant, near Cádiz in Spain, grew during March and April 2007. It culminated in a general strike in the province of Cádiz on 18 April.
