Spain: Labour market reform dialogue makes little progress
Tripartite negotiations during March 2010 over the Spanish Government's proposals for a labour market reform made little headway, with employers seeking radical changes unacceptable to the trade unions and the Government.
In February 2010, the Socialist Government presented the main trade union confederations and employers' organisations with a set of suggestions for labour market reform measures, aimed at boosting employment - specifically stable employment on open-ended contracts.
