Spain: Law on reasons justifying redundancy amended
The Spanish Parliament adopted in July 2010 an amended definition of the company economic circumstances that justify an employer making redundancies.
Under Spanish employment law, employment contracts may be terminated by the employer on a number of specified grounds only.
