Spain: Minimum wage and pensions increased
From 1 January 2007, the statutory national minimum wage (Salario Mínimo Interprofesional, SMI) has been increased by around 5.5% to €570.60 per month. Recipients, of whom there are around 1 million, receive 14 monthly payments per year.
