Spain: Minimum wage rises by 1.5%

The Spanish Government has increased the statutory national minimum wage by 1.5% from 1 January 2010.

On 30 December 2009, the Government set the rate of the national minimum wage (Salario Mínimo Interprofesional, SMI) for 2010.
