In the second year of a two-year deal negotiated with Amicus and the Transport and General Workers' Union, 1,084 manual and skilled workers at Swindon Pressings' automotive pressing plant in Swindon received a 2.7% across-the-board increase effective from 1 November 2005. The rise was based on the September 2005 retail prices index.
