Thames Water: 4.15% inflation-linked rise

The second stage of a two-year pay and conditions deal at utility company Thames Water has resulted in a 4.15% pay increase. The size of the uplift was determined by a formula based on the November 2004 headline retail prices index (3.4%), published in December 2004, plus 0.75%. Around 4,500 employees are covered by the agreement. Standby, call-out and other associated allowances also rise by 4.15% from 1 April 2005.
