Thermal insulation industry rates rise by 5.26%

The Thermal Insulation Contractors’ Association (TICA) has agreed a 5.26% increase in basic rates with the industry’s recognised trade unions – the GMB and Transport and General Workers' Union (TGWU). The deal, which covers an estimated 6,000 employees, is worth a headline 4.4%, but runs for a 10-month period between 5 March and 31 December 2007.
