Three-year deal for the refractory industry
Key details
|
Bricklayers, masons, operatives and labourers covered by the national agreement negotiated between the Refractory Users Federation and construction trade union UCATT will have their basic rates increased by between 3% and 6%, effective from 1 January 2007, in the first stage of a three-year pay and conditions agreement. Refractory products are fire-resistant substances able to resist high temperatures, and are used in kilns and furnaces.
