Trevor Phillips to head discrimination review

The Government has asked Trevor Phillips, head of the Commission for Racial Equality, to chair an investigation into the causes of persistent discrimination and inequality in British society*. A panel of experts from the public and private sectors will join Phillips in conducting the Equalities Review, which will report to the prime minister by the summer of 2006.
