Vehicle bodybuilders: Hourly rates increased

New minimum hourly rates for employees in the commercial vehicle bodybuilding sector of the Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association (VBRA) have been agreed, effective from 1 January 2005. As a result, minimum hourly rates have been increased from £4.62 to £4.95 for labourers, from £5.21 to £5.50 for semi-skilled workers, and from £5.83 to £6.15 for skilled workers.
