New minimum hourly rates for employees in the commercial vehicle bodybuilding sector of the Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association (VBRA) have been agreed, effective from 1 January 2006. As a result, minimum hourly rates have been increased from £4.95 to £5.35 for labourers, from £5.50 to £5.67 for semi-skilled workers, and from £6.15 to £6.33 for skilled workers.
