Employees at the Western Mail & Echo, which publishes a range of titles including The Western Mail, South Wales Echo and Wales on Sunday, have been awarded a pay rise that increases basic rates by 3%, effective from 1 March 2006. In addition to the basic award, employees are eligible to participate in the company's profit-sharing scheme.
