Western Power Distribution, the electricity distribution company covering south-west England and south and west Wales, has agreed a new two-year deal with its recognised trade unions - Amicus, GMB, the Transport and General Workers' Union, Unison and Prospect. The negotiations have resulted in a first stage increase of 4%, effective from 1 April 2006.
