Western Power Distribution, the electricity distribution company for the south west of England and South Wales, has agreed a two-year deal that comprises an increase in all salary points and associated "flow-through" items of 3.8%, effective from 1 April 2004. In addition, improvements were made to parenthood provisions and daily standby retainer payments for standby duty on weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
