Retailer Wickes Building Supplies has awarded its 6,000 staff and managers a basic increase of 3%, effective from 1 November 2005.
A number of shopfloor employees were paid increases in excess of 3% in response to the October 2005 national minimum wage uprating to £5.05 an hour.
