Yorkshire hauliers: 10.1% rise

The South Yorkshire Hauliers' Assenting Group, the United Road Transport Workers Union and the Transport & General Workers Union have agreed rises of up around 10.1% on basic hourly rates for around 3,000 drivers and other workers, with effect from 28 March 2004. The pay increase was agreed against the background of the Road Transport Directive.
