Negotiations between the Bradford-based
utility Yorkshire Water and its recognised unions - UNISON and the GMB - have resulted
in a new two-year pay deal, effective from 1 April 2004. The
company, part of the Kelda group, is responsible for
water treatment and supply, as well as sewage treatment and disposal, serving a
population of 4.7 million domestic and around 140,000 business customers.
