The EU’s proposed Digital Omnibus amendments to the AI Act have reached provisional agreement, replacing employers’ obligation to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy with a duty to support its development, and postponing the application of the Act’s employment-related high-risk AI rules to 2 December 2027.
