When to use this model neonatal care leave letter
Use this model letter to explain to a father or partner of a child's mother their entitlement to neonatal care leave. This letter is intended for use where the child was born on or after 6 April 2025 and started receiving neonatal care within the first 28 days of their life (starting from the day after they were born).
