Summary
- Employees of employers with 10 or more employees have an individual right to be provided with a certain amount of training by their employer, while employers with 20 or more employees must draw up annual training plans. (See General)
- Employees are entitled to time off on full pay to attend recognised vocational or general training courses. (See Paid training leave)
- Under a specific apprenticeship contract, apprentices can receive practical training in-house and theoretical training in an approved training/education centre. (See Apprenticeships)
- Under a "vocational immersion agreement", a trainee can acquire knowledge and skills by working for an employer. (See Other training-related contracts)
